Nokia’s first Android tablet, the Nokia N1 is on the move. The 7.9 inch tablet running Android 5.0 Lollipop was first available in China. Now, its available outside china(in Taiwan) at a price tag of $270. The new product is expected to arrive India and other countries soon. Microsoft’s new tablet comes with fairly good specifications so as to compete with popular Samsung and Nexus tablets.
Nokia N1 Specifications and Features
Nokia Z Launcher: Nokia Z launcher is an inbuilt app in Nokia N1 that makes the home screen more user friendly and easy. It automatically adapts to the surrounding you are, and shows the right app at the right time.
Display: 7.9 inch (4:3), Gorilla glass 3, IPS panel with LED backlight, Fully laminated zero air-gap display at 2048×1536 resolution. The Nokia N1 body is made of single piece Aluminium and sandblasted for a satin finish.

Nokia N1 – The Good and the Bad
Comparing with popular Samsung and Google Nexus Android Tablets in the market, Nokia N1 is cheaper. It has fairly good specifications. The front facing 5MP selfie camera is a notable plus point of Nokia N1. Nexus 9 and Samsung Tab 4 have respectively 1.6MP and 1.3MP front cameras only. Also, 2GB RAM and 32GB memory is a good option for a tablet under Rs. 15000.
The major drawback of Nokia’s first tablet is, it lacks GSM connectivity. You cannot put a SIM card on Nokia N1. Whereas, other two tabs described above supports 2G/3G connectivity.
